Privacy policy

Last updated: 14 June 2026

This policy explains what personal data we process on digitalunity.pl and the related subdomain prospectiq.digitalunity.pl, for what purpose and on what legal basis, who we share it with, and what rights you have. We keep data to a minimum — we collect as little as possible and never without a legal basis.

1. Who controls your data

The controller of personal data is Katarzyna Ochnik, conducting sole-proprietorship business under the name “Katarzyna Ochnik Digital Unity”, ul. Bluszczańska 74 lok. 58, 00-712 Warsaw, Poland, NIP 9710668048, REGON 529507590.

For all matters relating to personal data you can contact us: e-mail katarzyna.ochnik@digitalunity.pl, phone +48 888 469 553.

2. What data we process, why and on what basis

Site analytics (PostHog) — only after you give consent. We process data about how you use the site: pages visited, entry source, approximate location (country/city derived from the IP address), device, operating system and browser type. Purpose: traffic analysis and improving the site. Legal basis: your consent — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Contact form (Zoho Forms) — the data you provide yourself in the form (e.g. name, e-mail address, phone number, message content). Purpose: to respond to and handle your enquiry. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract, and the controller's legitimate interest in handling correspondence — Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.

E-mail or phone contact — if you write or call, we process the data contained in that correspondence solely to respond. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.

Hosting technical data — to make the site available, our hosting provider may process standard technical data (e.g. IP address, request data) as part of delivering the content. Legal basis: legitimate interest — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

The site uses cookies and similar technologies in two categories:

  • Necessary — remembering your decision about analytics consent (the “du-analytics-consent” cookie, valid for about 1 year). They are required so the site remembers your choice and does not ask again; they do not require consent.
  • Analytics (PostHog) — loaded only after you give consent. They use an anonymous browser identifier set on the “.digitalunity.pl” domain, so that traffic on the main site and on the prospectiq.digitalunity.pl subdomain is counted consistently as one user.

4. Consent and its withdrawal

Analytics does not start until you click “Accept” in the cookie banner — until then the analytics tool is not loaded at all and no analytics cookies are set.

You can withdraw consent at any time. Simply delete this site's cookies in your browser settings — on your next visit the banner will appear again and you can decide anew. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

5. Who we entrust data to (processors)

We use trusted providers who process data on our behalf, solely according to our instructions:

  • PostHog — site analytics; data processed in the European Union region (eu.posthog.com).
  • Zoho — contact form handling; data processed in the European Union region (zohopublic.eu).
  • Render — site hosting (infrastructure provider).

6. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

We aim to keep data processed within the EU/EEA (the European regions of PostHog and Zoho). If any provider were to process data outside the EEA, this takes place on the basis of appropriate safeguards required by the GDPR, in particular the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

7. How long we keep data

We keep analytics data no longer than necessary for statistical purposes, in line with the analytics tool's settings. We keep correspondence and form data for as long as necessary to handle the matter, and then for the limitation period of any potential claims. Once the purpose ends, data is deleted or anonymised.

8. Your rights

In connection with the processing of your data you have the right to:

  • access your data and obtain a copy of it,
  • rectify (correct) your data,
  • erase your data (the “right to be forgotten”),
  • restrict processing,
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest,
  • data portability,
  • withdraw consent at any time — for data processed on the basis of consent,
  • lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority — the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (PUODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland.

9. Voluntary nature and no profiling

Providing data is voluntary. However, providing data in the contact form is a condition of receiving a reply to your enquiry.

We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that would produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affect you.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated, e.g. when the tools we use or the applicable law change. The current version is always available on this page, and the date of the last update is shown at the top of the document.
