The challenge
Before re-uploading to the CRM, a large facilities database needed an audit: duplicates, inconsistent identifiers and the lack of a clear ROOT/BRANCH structure risked cluttering the system.
What I did
- I took a CRM snapshot and ran a gap analysis against the source data.
- I mapped the fields and decided on the ROOT/BRANCH structure.
- I cleaned the identifiers and analysed duplicates.
- I prepared a controlled upload with checkpoints and dry runs.
Outcome
Clean, consistent data ready for a safe upload — without losing history and without cluttering the CRM with duplicates. Zero errors while cleaning identifiers.
