The challenge
Handling attendees on site needed fast, reliable check-in and a view of the statistics — without depending on a laptop at the door.
What I did
- I built a native app (Kotlin) to run the event.
- Check-in and a QR scanner (the primary identifier) with status validation and warnings before an invalid check-in — an unpaid order or the wrong event.
- Live statistics: TOP companies, payment statuses.
- Manual sync and secure handling of sensitive data.
Outcome
Smooth on-site attendee handling: fast check-in, fewer errors (a production-confirmed undercount fix) and a real-time view of the statistics.
